Embark on an entry-level overnight snowshoe tour to Rykimäkuru Gorge and beyond in Pyhä-Luosto National Park, led by a qualified wilderness and snowshoeing guide who will share insights about the surrounding nature and traditional wilderness travel. Participants will pull a not-so-heavy ahkio sled, also called a pulka, to carry personal equipment, eliminating the need for a day backpack while adding an authentic wilderness experience. This tour provides an ideal introduction to multi-day snowshoe expeditions, offering a combination of adventure, learning, and immersion in Finland’s pristine winter landscapes.
Snowshoers will spend a cozy night in a warm wilderness hut, complete with the option to enjoy a traditional wood-heated Finnish sauna and the invigorating experience of rolling in the snow. Throughout the tour, participants will have the opportunity to develop essential snowshoeing skills, including technique, strategy, sled packing, daily maintenance routines, and weather awareness. The Bliss guide will also teach practical Arctic skills such as navigation in the Taiga forest, using a traditional puukko knife, fire-making in snowy conditions, and wilderness cooking methods, providing a comprehensive and immersive experience in Finland’s winter wilderness.

We spent a wonderful time husky sledding at the farm with dogs full of energy, and the people who welcomed us, guided us with care, and shared their passion for the Alaskan huskies, the whole experience felt both thrilling and heart‑warming.”

A wonderful ice climbing lesson by Juan Pablo and Max. We learned the ropes and how to climb comfortably and confidently. These guys were very patient and very friendly. 10/5 stars if I could. Ps. Sara said she plans on going ice climbing in Germany and Austria, next time she’ll make it to the top!

Incredible experience! This was our first time ice climbing and the guides were very educational on safety and the technique to successfully climb. I am so glad we did this adventure and 1000% recommend.

We loved our experience with Bliss Adventure. Utmost professionals, caring, kind, and have a passion for what they do. They were especially accomodating to my parents in their 60s who were nervous about the activities (fatbiking and wilderness skiing) being too physically demanding. Highly recommend and would return for more adventure with them (e.g. Ice Climbing)!

What a great tour we had today with Kai. Electric fat bike are awesome, we booked the 3 hours ride to the amethyst mine. Kai was an awesome guide, took the time to explain everything to us, took cool pictures for us, helped us find the best donut in Finland, etc. The path to the mine is uphill but with the « boost » option you can climb to the top without too much energy. The mine is cool as well but the fat bike is what make the tour quite unique. Would 100% recommend! Next time we try the ice climbing for beginners :) thanks a lot
