This is one of the parts where, the deeper your pockets, the better the experience. Boats are basically based on your affordability. Depending on your agency, you will get chauffeured to and from your hotel. The boats are pretty comfortable but they differ in entirely everything. You want a private family boat - they got you. You wanna mingle with everyone there are there. You want boats with multiple decks- again, they got you. The problem is, animals are a hit or miss. My trip was awful, saw minimal wildlife (#disappointing). It felt like money down the drain. The sunset was unforgettable tho. M you boats offered meals and refreshments on board 👌🏾

A beautiful serene way to end your day. Drinks and snacks were provided. Plenty of hippos to be seen and other animals if you are lucky. We booked with Wild Horizons. The staff were incredibly professional and courteous.

Without doubt one of the best trips we did during our stay in Victoria Falls. The cruise is a pleasant and relaxing way to enjoy the river and watch the sunset. Drinks are included from the ample bar, snacks provided and the main meal was simply wonderful. The boats are not crowded and the seating is very comfortable. This all adds up to a very relaxing river cruise. We were fortunate enough to witness a spectacular lightening display towards the end of our cruise. Don’t hesitate about booking a sunset dinner cruise. Pick-up and drop-off at your hotel included.

We booked the cruise via our hotel we stayed in. We were picked up by the service provider and drop off after the cruise. The Zambezi Sunset cruise is an absolute superb way to relax and enjoy the spectacular beauty of the Zambezi River on this 2 hour boat ride. People had the opportunity to sit upstairs or on the lower deck, but the view was still beautiful. One was allowed to move around on the boat without any restrictions. We had great photo opportunities against the often-spectacular African sunsets as we cruise along the Zambezi river. We also saw flocks of birds that skim the waterline as the sun sets behind the Zimbabwe/Zambezi skyline. We also had the opportunity to see a variety of game; including hippo, crocodile, and elephant as well as the many different bird species. Our guide explained in detail every species, and they living habits. The Sunset Cruise is very popular amongst tourist and includes finger snacks, beer, wine, local spirits and soft drinks. Tourist on the boat can have unlimited drinks and finger snacks are being served shortly after departure. Life jackets are also provided in the case of an emergency. The boat also has a toilet on board both for males and females. This is a must tourist attraction when visiting the Victoria falls.

The fourth longest river in Africa, after the Nile, Congo, and Niger Rivers. I took a Sunset cruise from a local tour agency to witness the spectacular sunset on the river. The cruise package included unlimited drinks and food on the boat. Many birds, Hippos and Crocodiles were spotted during the trip along with some elephant. The guide will keep an eye on the river banks to make you aware about any wildlife near the river. The mighty river flows through Zambia, Angola, Namibia and Botswana then back along the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe finally discharging into the Indian Ocean at its delta in Mozambique.
