Excellent experience, close to shopping areas walking distance. From major church.

I had a very disappointing experience with Hotel Siena in Milan. I booked a room for my brother and his partner via Booking.com more than 10 days. Just a few hours before their arrival, the hotel suddenly decided the cardholder name must match the guest’s name—something that wasn’t mentioned during booking. Even after I assured them the guests would pay in person on arrival, they canceled the reservation without consent, leaving my brother stranded in Milan at night. He spent over 3 hours with luggage looking for a new place. To make it worse, just minutes after cancellation, the same room was booked again. It felt like they just wanted to give the room to someone else and used a technicality as an excuse. Extremely unprofessional and inhumane behavior. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The WORST Hotel Ever! We were there with my husband and my 8 years old son. When we were going out for a walk the second night I was talking with a girl at the reception that we would probably going to need a taxi around four o'clock in the morning to reach the train station, but when we came back later I said to the owner that we will have the taxi at five o'clock. Anyway at four o'clock the owner knocked at the door and said the taxi is waiting for us. I told him that we said 5 o'clock to him but he didn't listen and just said the girl called a taxi. I asked him to reschedule the taxi for 5 o'clock. We packed our baggage and left the hotel at 5 as there was a taxi. We just left for the station and I saw that the counter pointed 58 euro (the course from the hotel to the station is around 5-7 euro) and the driver explained to us that the owner told him that we haven't answer when he knocked and he has to wait For us!!!! He has been waiting for us for one hour!!! I was shocked. I explained to him what happened. The driver gave me a receipt. He didn't even take all the money and begged us to go back and look for our money. Anyway I would definetely call the police if we didn't have to hurry for catching the plane back home. I was so frustrated because we were with our kid. What a person he should be to act like this? For me this is a crime! Don't go there! You will be definetely robbed in some way.

The only advantage of this hotel is that it’s very close to central otherwise very bad service . 1. Black tiled stairs are so dark, no light and I was about to fall. 2. Washroom has a hairdryer but doesn’t work. 3. No handwash or soap found in the washbasin.

We tried to stay here. But when we arrived, much later then check in, our room wasn’t ready. Then, our room had a skeleton key, that could be easily opened with a pen. We stored our valuables in my car, and it was a good thing we did. While we were out to dinner our room and luggage was clearly searched. We decided to leave and cancel our reservation, and the strongly tried to deny our partially refundable booking. We had to call the booking (dot com) website where we reserved the room to have them call the hotel and force them to refund our additional nights. The property itself wasn’t too terrible, but you get the bare minimum. Almost hostel quality. But for the price, it’s just a tad better than a hostel.
