"Perfect for Casual Visits While in Nairobi Just 30 minutes from Central Nairobi, Nairobi National Park offers a unique wildlife experience close to the city. Home to hippos, lions, giraffes, antelopes, and buffaloes, the park showcases an extraordinary contrast between its wild inhabitants and Nairobi's urban skyline. While it may not match the biodiversity of larger national parks in rural Kenya, its accessibility and charm make it an excellent choice for casual visits. Easily explored in half a day, it’s a must-see for anyone looking to experience Kenya’s wildlife without venturing far from the capital."

Great for 1/2 day trip. I joined a half-day tour to Nairobi National Park with a local company in this area. The entrance fee amounted to approximately $43, which your guide can assist you in paying through a government website. Our time in the park lasted about 3 hours, during which we encountered numerous animals such as zebras, giraffes, gazelles, rhinoceroses, lionesses, and a buffalo.

Great for casual visits while in Nairobi. Located just 30 minutes from Central Nairobi, Nairobi National Park boasts a diverse habitat teeming with wildlife such as hippos, lions, giraffes, antelopes, and buffaloes. Despite its proximity to the city, the park offers a unique juxtaposition of Nairobi's skyscrapers against its wild inhabitants, providing visitors with a one-of-a-kind experience. Easily navigable within half a day, the park may not rival larger national parks in rural Kenya in terms of biodiversity, but it serves as an excellent destination for casual visits while in Nairobi.
