Terrible experience with City Tour — I do not recommend! Our trip with City Tour (10.07.2024 – 21.07.2024) was a real test. It all started with disorganization and questionable moments in the office: inconvenient location, no receipt for payment. Two months before the trip, we were not given details about the hotel, but they happily reminded us about the payment for the second part of the tour. The day of departure was chaotic. In the heat of +35, we were waiting for the bus, which was late, and the accompanying person (the director of the company) instead of organizing was yelling at people. The first stop was a hotel in Belgrade (Yugoslavia, 3*). Dirty rooms, cobwebs and a terrible state of the premises, from which you just wanted to run away. In Montenegro, we were accommodated in the Loza 3* hotel in Budva — stuffy, with an inconvenient layout and minimal amenities. The food is dry, the choice is different types of pasta. Some tourists did not have air conditioning, refrigerators and balconies, although this was stated in the contract. We were still moved to another hotel (Budva Inn, 4*), which was better, but the aftertaste remained. The excursions were boring and disorganized. For example, instead of a panoramic excursion in Belgrade, we were taken around the fortress in the hellish heat, and no one listened to the guide's story. We decided to refuse further excursions and enjoy the vacation on our own, renting a car. The return home was also a test: long night drives, pointless stops and chaotic conditions, which further aggravated the situation. To sum it up: incompetent staff, terrible conditions and a complete lack of organization. I do not advise anyone to contact City Tour if you want to save your nerves and money.

I want to express my gratitude to the CityTour travel agency! We've been using them to organize our vacations for many years now, and we're always satisfied. This year, in May, we chose Turkey, and it was a truly wonderful vacation. The agency offers a huge selection of destinations and hotels, allowing us to always find the perfect option for any budget and preference. I'd especially like to thank the tour operators, who are always available.

In support of the company, I want to write a review, specifically about the trip to Istanbul from March 15 to 19. I have been traveling with this company throughout Europe for many years. This is the first time I have come across such arrogant and rude tourists in a group. Tatiana gave a lot of detailed information, talking all the way about Istanbul and the specifics of this Turkish city. The girls listened to her inattentively. We drank alcohol all the way to Istanbul and back to Chisinau. They did not listen to the recommendations of the escort. We were absolutely on our wavelength! And malicious reviews from them without specific complaints speak only of the lack of education of some.

Istanbul: Round Trip. With citytour from March 15, 2023, to March 19, 2023, I sent those who wanted to travel on an unforgettable vacation. The vacation was truly unforgettable. It all began with the tour organizer, Tatyana, informing us on the bus that the tour itinerary had changed due to reasons beyond their control: a visit to Yalova and the healing springs there had been removed from the previously agreed-upon itinerary. The earthquake in Turkey and the global economic situation were cited as the main reasons for the change. This ultimately turned out to be a lie; the springs were operational and open to tourists. This employee's lack of professionalism became more apparent later. For example, the information that there would be internet access during the trip to Romania was mentioned in passing, as if in passing. Most travelers only learned about the availability of Wi-Fi at the Romanian-Bulgarian border, when few people were able to use it. Upon arrival in Istanbul, she simply shied away from her duties, apparently having other travel plans. She was so careless about informing us about currency exchange. We were shown the exchange office with the worst rate in the city, which was confirmed by further walks around the city. She didn't tell us where the best places to have lunch and dinner were, didn't explain where to find markets with reasonable prices near the hotel, or how to shop properly and where in the city. Her actions during the group's departure day gathering and boarding the bus were the height of unprofessionalism. The tourists wandered the winding, steep streets with their suitcases and at one point even had to turn back to avoid getting lost. In the end, the one-kilometer journey took 40 minutes, instead of the 12 minutes our guide had assured us. Meanwhile, she was busy with her extensive luggage. As a result, our departure from Istanbul was delayed by an hour. Furthermore, the bus drivers' constant smoking throughout the journey angered passengers.
