Heavily overrated. Half of the food tasted like it was taken from the buffet in the morning (dry bread, even dryer salad). There are 5 tables with a good view and for everyone else its like a restaurant without a roof on some roof. But with no view. Service is ok, the meat was good (kind of saved it) but it's not really worth it. Take the orient one instead.
We travelled egypt for a week before coming to this hotel, and have spent 4 days at steigenberger so far. Food in general in Egypt has not been the best (either European food or local), but Sky Restaurant is the first place I've eaten where the food compares to the quality back home - we were both really happy with it. Service was great (as it is everywhere in this hotel), but I'd highly recommend eating here. Really beautiful setting too.
The Sky restaurant was just an awesome experience. Really great food, great service and nice view to the mountains and the airport. Lovely sunset. The best experience we had during our stay.
We enjoyed our menue of four courses on the roof top. The flair was beautiful and quiet. The waiter were really nice and forthcoming. Most of all, the food was delicious: salad, soup, main course and dessert was made with lots of love. One of the best steak and fish we ever had the pleasure of eating.
The food was delicious. We had meat, fish and shrimps as a mean meal and delicious starters and different soups. Additionally they served one meal gluten free. The service was amazing. There was nothing we missed. Every wish was fulfilled before we have said it. Thank you sky restaurant team and especially a big thanks to Semir Mokbal.
