The Cliffs of Moher are a spectacular natural landmark and a hotspot for a wide variety of flora and fauna, with over twenty species of birds calling the cliffs home. These dramatic cliffs have also captured the imagination of filmmakers and have appeared in popular movies such as Harry Potter, The Princess Bride, and Leap Year. Rising from the Atlantic Ocean at the southwestern edge of the Burren region in County Clare, the cliffs form a stunning natural barrier. Geologically, they are a layered mosaic of sandstone, siltstone, and shale, shaped over millions of years, creating an awe-inspiring and rugged landscape that has stood the test of time.
Your adventure begins in the west of Ireland, a region known for its epic landscapes and rugged terrain. Visitors will encounter gigantic cliffs, seemingly endless Mars-like landscapes, and a mix of ancient monastic cities and modern, vibrant towns. The area is also home to some of Ireland’s most romantic buildings, offering a blend of natural beauty, history, and culture. From the spectacular coastline along the Wild Atlantic Way to the dramatic cliffs and scenic vistas, Ireland West promises unforgettable experiences for every traveler seeking adventure and discovery.

I have been around the world and Carol was one of the best tour guides I've ever had. Our first stop was Glendalough, where Carol gave us a quick rundown of the history before letting us roam to go see what we each individually wanted to see for 2 hours. 2 hours proved to be the perfect amount of time here. We hiked to upper lake, explored the monastic site, and got lunch at the food truck before returning to the bus with 10 minutes to left before departure. Then we drove through the scenic Wicklow Mountains National Park and made a quick 20-minute stop at the Wicklow Gap. A high-elevation mountain pass with panoramic views. Next was the sheepdog demonstration at "working sheep dogs" in Ballybought. The demonstrator, Mike, showed up right on time and promptly taught us about the history of Irish sheep farming and the use of sheepdogs before doing a thorough herding demonstration with his border collies, Maggie and JoJo. After that, we continued to the last stop of the day: Kilkenny. Similarly to Glendalough, Carol gave us a quick and informative lesson on Kilkenny's history before letting us off the bus right in the heart of the medieval town. I had time to do a self guided tour of Kilkenny Castle, walk some of the ancient city streets, check out shops, see the River Nore, and visit the Cathedral. As stated earlier, Carol was a fantastic tour guide. She was friendly, knowledgeable, had a sense of humor, and would frequently check in on us throughout the drive or as she saw us at each stop. She also made it very easy to remember which bus to get on by leaving a pink hat on the dashboard.

I loved the Cliffs of Moher, Burren, and Galway City tour! It was well organized and stayed on schedule. Nishad was an amazing driver. I felt safe the entire time, and he navigated the difficult roads like a pro! Our guide Mark was kind, very knowledgeable about Ireland, and had the best sense of humor. 🐢 I learned a lot and had fun. I would definitely recommend the tour! -Tara

Absolutely amazing! Aoife was our guide and Salleh our driver - couldn’t imagine a better pair. Aoife was SO fantastic and has a true gift for making history engaging. She was able to tell us about Irish history and seemed to know the story behind ever rock along the way to seemed. They were so fun and kind and gave great recommendations for the tour itself but also for anyone staying in Dublin. The Cliffs of Moher were beautiful and you had plently of time there. Galway did feel a little short on time for exploring but you have more than enough time to shop around the main streets. Absolutely wonderful and would recommend to anyone!

Had always wanted to see the Cliffs of Mohr, but this trip was so much more! Our guide Gina was incredibly knowledgeable about Irish history and provided interesting facts. The driver Fred was gifted behind the wheel! Together they made a great team and a memorable adventure.

It was an absolute pleasure visiting the Cliffs of Moher and Galway with Aoife as our guide and Saleh as our driver. Aoife shared amazing historical insights with a wonderful sense of humor and such a soothing voice, it made the whole journey even more enjoyable. I had a lot of fun, and it was beautiful to see how Irish and Algerian cultures share so many similarities. Truly an unforgettable experience! 🌿🇮🇪🇩🇿

Could have spent more time at the Cliffs of Moher and Burren and less time in Galway

Amazing day trip with Mark and Nowshad. Mark was a fantastic guide - very entertaining while delivering lots of history and fun facts. The day was managed well with appropriate toilet and food stops and ample time at the Cliffs and Galway to explore.

The day was amazing! The tourguide was super knowledgeable and he gave a great tour.

Don’t hesitate to book! Our first full day in Dublin was well spent with Eli and Noel! The drive was broken up great and we had nice scenery to where it went by very fast. Noel had great commentary and Ireland insights as well. Giants causeway was very windy so definitely wear layers + a rain jacket. We stop at Central convenience in the AM that has hot breakfast items (British breakfast etc), coffee, and a selection of everything else like yogurts, fruit, pastry etc. Arrived back at 7:05 pm and ended up being at each location for longer than expected. Totally recommend.

We booked the Cliffs of Moher, Burren & Galway City Day tour from Dublin. This was an amazing day trip. Our guide was Luke, and Fred was our driver. Luke was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. The trip was organized very well and was punctual. We had enough time to see all attractions. Luke explained a lot of topics in an interesting and captivating way. Definitely recommend taking this day trip.
