We visited Cape Point Vineyards and it was an absolutely beautiful experience from start to finish. I decided to do the wine tasting with oysters, and it was truly spectacular. The way the wine and oysters paired together was incredible, each flavour bringing out the best in the other. It was also my first time seeing oysters served on salt, which made the presentation so elegant and unique. The board we had with the wines was divine!!!!!The views across the vineyards, mountains and ocean were breathtaking, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. It is the perfect place to relax, enjoy wonderful wine, and take in the beauty around you.

The views here are great but that is about it. The service was very slow on a quiet afternoon and we were really frustrated that we had to go a couple of times to find the staff to get our order. The most prized wine had some cork residue the first time, the second time the glass was dirty and it just wasn’t a fun experience.

A beautiful place with stunning views — definitely worth visiting for the scenery and peaceful atmosphere. However, the wine selection was quite limited. They only had one red wine available and mentioned they were experiencing a shortage.

Wicked view … wine and drinks reasonable. Have had the platters and very tasty. Can book tables or picnic sites with baskets

Celebrated my grandmothers 70th birthday there, the views were absolutely stunning and the server was great. Unfortunately the food did not meet standards. Most of the steaks were sold out by the time our reservation happened at 1pm, we ordered roosterkoek meals but they were cold and old. Not freshly made unfortunately. Mine came with a little friend crawling from underneath the lettuce. Called over the manager, he took my food away that I was still eating and when we asked if if was then taken off the bill, which they responded yes, we still ended up paying for it. Other than some gorgeous pictures of the venue, would definitely not recommend this place food wise.
