What can I say, wow!! This was everything we wanted from a walking tour in Stone Town. Also Mohammed was an absolute vibe. He was such an awesome guide, we learnt so much from him, so much about the history, life here in Zanzibar, the knowledge about all the spots in Stone Town. We couldn’t be happier with this tour. Stone Town can be daunting, and his relaxed story and information telling was exactly what we needed! Great value for money!

We had the best experience with Zanzibar Walks! We had some difficultly finding the location because we missed the address in the email. The company was very helpful though! They had the guide meet us at our location. We were still able to enjoy the entire tour. We had the best guide, Imran! He was very friendly and knowledgeable about Stone Town and Zanzibar! We had so much fun and learned a lot! We highly recommend Zanzibar Walks for anyone exploring Stone Town!

I had great experience during my walk visit of Stonetown. My guide Mohamed let me Explore all the old Town, explained me the history and answered every question I had. I can recommend the tour , thank you Mohamed for your passionate and good job. This was my first day in Zanzibar and I was very well welcomed

We reached out to Ally a few weeks before arriving in Zanzibar, requesting a tour that includes city walk AND night market food sampling. He responded with utmost professionalism and sincerity, and agreed to personalize our tour to suit our tastes. On the night of the tour, we got Ally’s associate Yusuph. He is such a wonderful, funny, knowledgable and understanding character. We connected really well and he took care of us (and kept our secrets) like our big brother. We absolutely love his passion and insights about the people, culture, customs, and history, and we were especially impressed by his genuine character and appetite! We learned so much about the exuberant diversity and multi-faceted influence which Zanzibar had been under. We even got to show-off our rusty piano skills at the Dhow Countries Music Academy. Along the way we sampled delicious juicy mango, cassava chips, sweet meat with the best coffee ever, local delicacies at the Forodhani food stalls, and hands down the best ice cream ever! We felt safe and welcomed during the entire tour, and as avid travelers (46 countries and counting), I highly recommend this tour 200%! Overall, this hand-crafted, rich cultural experience is one that you’d hate to miss out on when visiting Zanzibar!

We absolutely loved our walking tour with Ally. We learnt so much about the local culture, history and modern day Stone Town within just a few hours. The town is a beautiful maze. Thank you! We will be recommending you to our friends.
