Such a blast! The ATVs were in great condition, the dunes were endless, and the ocean breeze made it even better. Perfect mix of fun and freedom, every one so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend The Sun Buggie🥰
What a great operation! The call center customer support was fantastic and personable. They helped me confirm that I could bring my 4 year old (less than 50") on the buggy. This was crucial as he had a blast! Also, it's inevitable that you may get stuck and need a tow out of a dune, which happened to us. They have a great system where you scan your QR code, send your gps coordinates to the call center and someone comes to your rescue! We had a great time, and would do it again. My only feedback is that the maps are confusing, along with the markers around the dunes - not sure who is in charge of making it clearer/better - but it could use a revamp. All in all, I would highly recommend as the dunes are quite vast and you need some kind of vehicle to get back to there to truly experience how awesome they are. This is the only beach location in California to do this!
They were really nice and really helpful!!! Substituted us when our buggy broke down to the Can Am 1000 Turbo, didn’t even charge for the additional 3000$ deposit. They gave us a tour of the dunes and showed us a good path to take when riding. I would 100% recommend them to anyone who wants to come and join the experience. I will definitely be choosing them in the future.
Can-am -- fun but dangerous made for responsible drivers 50mph Sun buggie -- safe sturdy 30-40 mph If smart enough can get yourself unstuck very easy by pushing the wheels and knowing what direction to get out. Honest business. Much respect to the staff. Bus driver james was fantastic needs a raise. Robert couldn't express enough about safety. Red beard was wholesome. Ladies were all helpful. First buggy had an fault but the staff knew it was their issue..HUGE!! After driving it for only 10 min.. I was worried they were going to say i did something but they were very professional. I am a very satisfied customer I will definitely bring my business here. Not a guy who does off-road enough to buy my own personal.
Over such a great experience! Every single staff was so friendly and helpful. From helping us park, to Lynn getting us fitted with our gear, to the shuttle to the vehicles... Special shout out to the team patrolling the dunes checking in on the riders. Also very impressed the bathroom had 8 rolls of toilet paper ready to go. A heads up: they mention it but yeah the area is deceptively large. Highly recommend to drive thru zone 1 until u get your bearings. Also recommend bringing a bandana or you may swallow sand.
