Western Sicily: San Vito, Scopello & Castellammare

Next, we continue our adventure to the charming village of Scopello, where we’ll explore the historic tonnara, a former tuna fishery, and marvel at the towering faraglioni rocks. We’ll also visit the Baglio, a traditional Sicilian structure in the village, and taste the renowned "cunzato" bread, a typical street food that embodies the flavors of the region.

Afterward, we head to the famous pebble beach of Guidaloca, perfect for a relaxing break before continuing our scenic drive along the coastal road. Our final stop brings us to Castellammare del Golfo, a picturesque fishing village that offers stunning panoramic views of the Gulf of Castellammare. In the village, we’ll explore the lively main square, stroll along the marina with its colorful fishing boats and nets, and visit the "castle at sea," which has given the village its name.
