What a lovely place, they have two really awesome active runways. Runway length is sufficient for the requirement. This place is highly recommended, a must see if you love aviation.
The facility is very convenient not difficult to find your way around here but like most International Airports in SA the paid parking is available and pricey. You don't have to worry much since there's a host various shops from clothing/restaurants/cosmetic outlets. Lastly do not be late be very time conscious, keep to 90mins rule.
Very nice airport. Well looked after and clean. As it's an international airport be prepared for traffic and sometimes a long line when checking in. You have a stunning view when taking off as you see table mountain in the background. Also when exiting the airport you see it while driving. Cape Town is a must to visit! So much to do and see.
An absolutely flawless welcome to Cape Town. The airport is incredibly clean, modern, and brilliantly efficient. I was through immigration and had my bags in record time. The signage is clear, making it super easy to navigate, and the staff are friendly and professional. The best part is the stunning view of Table Mountain you get right from the terminal. It truly lives up to its reputation as the best airport in Africa. A 5-star experience all the way.
Cape Town International Airport is efficient, clean, and easy to navigate making it a solid choice for both domestic and international travelers. Security and immigration processes are generally smooth, and there are decent food and shopping options available. Interesting fact: Visitors can reclaim the VAT (Value Added Tax) paid during their stay on shopping and dining just keep your receipts and claim it before departure! While not as flashy as some mega-airports, it’s well-organized and offers a pleasant travel experience with a friendly South African welcome.
