We visited 9-11-2025 this place two days ago. This place is a very good and peaceful place for families. After going there and making a barbecue, you can see the natural scenery there. Seeing the mountains and the natural lake, you and your family will be happy that you have come to a very good place. If you want to see natural scenery and a good place, then definitely bring your family to this place.
Hidden visitor place(Underrated Place) . We enjoyed with family. It is good picnic place. We saw a lot of friends, families enjoy the picnic. Lot of facilities available in the places. 1) Gents & Ladies prayer room 2) Public Toilet (24 hrs) 3) Small Park ( Children play area) 4) Well Designed Barbeque area 5) Hiking 6) Restaurant 7) No Entry Fees 8) Free Parking 9) Camping 10) Dam (Summer season - No water) We visited at 12 April 2025 All things are accessed in one place. All around the area surround by hill mountain . It gave a good wonderful view. Good spot for hiking. We enjoyed the atmosphere lots with families, BBQ, Camping. This is the first trip we got a all prayer (Asr - Fajr) Alhamdhulillah Highly recommended Place in winter seasons ( Oct - Apr)
Guys this is a fantastic valley but now a days no rain so the damn dont have water but it has a very hard long trail for hiking early morning, early morning views are another level guys specially go around 3:30am to 5:30am. for nature lovers open 24/7 big parking place no water food facility please take your food and water with you
Wadi Shawka is a hidden gem! Just a short drive from the city, yet it feels like another world. The hiking trails are well-marked, the views are breathtaking, and it’s perfect for both beginners and experienced hikers. Great spot for camping and spending time with family or friends. Highly recommended for nature lovers!
Very nice, family-friendly hiking trek with majestic views. Wadi Shawka Dam was empty when we were there but its okay the view from the top is still spectacular. There are also camping sites and playgrounds for families who want to do overnights. The toilets are also clean and maintained. Highly recommended!
