It’s a great happiness to know that there are still people who truly love what they do. You can feel it in every single detail — like when (perhaps) the owner serves you your Port wine with such dignity, as if you were his most precious guest. I counted at least five languages he speaks fluently — that alone is impressive! And what a brilliant idea to include a short video explaining the essence of Fado. I’ve been working as a tour guide for many years and have attended several Fado evenings before — I enjoyed them all, but this one truly exceeded every expectation. He also sings himself — and that, I must say, is probably the most beautiful performance I’ve heard in a long time. I can honestly say: this experience deserves not five, but ten stars. I wholeheartedly recommend it and feel so grateful that, at the very end of my journey, I found myself at such a magical evening.

The whole performance was beautiful! Very emotional and touching experience. The singers were an obvious professionals with passion for the music and the history of fado was very engaging. Highly recommend if you are looking for places to expand your culture or enjoy some quality music!

Great Introduction to Fado This was our first experience with Fado, and we were very happy to join this concert in a fun intimate setting. The music and singing were beautiful. The beautiful Fado and talented artists alone are strong reason to join. But this experience provided an additional benefit: throughout the concert, the artists provided explanations and brief videos to bring the history and cultural significance of Fado to life. We enjoyed Fado afterward in Lisbon (in a more traditional bar) and we were happy to have enjoyed this introduction.

Beautiful experience! Loved learning about the history of fado and found it very unique to learn about the regional variations of fado. I recommend buying your tickets directly from the business instead of from a site. The entire team is nice and kind. I think it’s a must if you’re visiting Porto!

Love it! As a music nerd, I can strongly recommend this deep dive experience to everyone interested in the culture of Fado. The fantastic live performances are accompanied by well produced video sections covering history, technique, facts. Check out from the city and enjoy this intimate and educational show with a complimentary glass of port!
