Very good. Less crowded than Versailles. Right sizes to spend the day with the family. Enjoyed the library. The exhibition has tickets on reserved for three weeks out, so you must plan, though some did come on offer during our visit

It's all about wealth in a lot of these stately homes. However, the estate was handed over to be on exhibition indefinitely. Good move. The horses are well provided for in the stables. The grounds are immense and lovely to walk through. Nice patisserie outside on the way home. Train from gare du nord was quick.

Lovely castle, great picture gallery, great interiors and art objects to admire! Library with the medieval manuscripts not to be missed! Big territory, nice park, horse show/trainings can be seen. Loved it

Beautiful palace! Will definitely come again. Great for a one day trip. Would recommend to spend the whole day because the chateau takes about 2-3 hours and the garden is really big. Allegedly the biggest horse stables in Europe. Also book a viewing of the horse show in advance, because it sells out.

Fairy tales do come true. I was invited to a wedding here. Unbelievably gorgeous grounds. Seeing a castle that is 500+ years old was just the beginning. Our group was able to see inside and experience the stellar staff and service. Worth the trip!
