Our passion for crafting exceptional products in Alto Alentejo has led us to cultivate 90 hectares of olive groves at Herdade da Fonte Santa, where we practice integrated production.
We meticulously hand-harvest and cold-press varieties like Galega, Arbequina, Cobrançosa, Picual, Cordovil, and Frantoio to produce a fruity olive oil with unique characteristics. We've been customers of Sweeney's for over four years now, thanks to the brilliant selection of wines and Belgian beers they have to offer, as well as the excellent sandwiches and coffee options. We decided to use Sweeney's to supply our wedding wines and couldn't be happier. We told Colin our budget and what we liked/planned to eat at the wedding and he put together a fantastic tasting for us with a great selection of wines. This is a lovely little bottle shop and cafe. The worker we spoke to was so helpful and even offered us a sample of their special wine on offer. Lovely range of wines and refrigerated beers and some tasty looking snacks. Really reasonably priced too!
A lovely spot with a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for stopping by to enjoy their excellent selection of wines or a beautifully prepared coffee. Whether you prefer sitting indoors or outdoors, the cozy setting makes it a great place to relax. Their delicious pastries are a delightful treat, adding to the experience. I recently tried a beverage they brought from Germany and absolutely loved it! The owner discovered it during a trip to Berlin, and hearing the story behind it made it even more special. I highly recommend visiting!
Great off licence. Responsible Covid queues. Great takeaway coffee. Amazing selection of craft beers, wines cheese and snacks. Can't recommend highly enough. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Credit to themselves. Beautiful shop inside too.
