My husband and I went on this day tour today. It is absolutely worth it. It trip stops at 3 gorgeous spots, with good timing for restroom uses, a delicious lunch. Trip was on time as planned. Our tour guide Andrea and driver Daniel were a great team. Andrea was knowledgeable, funny, friendly. She always points out the best view points, the best spot for photos, taught us not only sandstones, of course, but also local plans, culture, etc. Strongly recommend this tour and Saxon Tours.
Fantastic tour to the Saxon and Bohemian Alps. Scenery was magnificent. The walking was a bit strenuous but manageable (I was glad I'd brought a walking stick). Barbara was a great guide.
Had a terrific hike and learned about the region from our guide Tomas. Daniel and Tomas promptly picked us up from our hotel and we headed for our big adventure and our first stop at Bastei Bridge & Neurathen Castle where we saw the remnants of the castle and took in the amazing views of the town and river below. The second hike to Pravcicka Gate was a bit more challenging but once we got to the top the views were well worth it. Lunch in town was great. Our last hike was fun trying to guess what the rock formations look like, some interesting guesses. Would recommend this activity.
