Great tour well worth the money. Our guide Helena kept everyone involved with her knowledge of the history of Tenerife, the geology and nature as well as her expert understanding of the night sky. Tour included a chance to watch the sun set from above cloud level as well as a dinner stop which was excellent and catered for food intolerances. Would highly recommend this experience.

Wonderful tour with Osvaldo our brilliant driver and Isabel our fantastically knowledgeable tour guide. This tour may seem expensive to some on first appearance but it is worth every cent. We have been on many tours in a lot of different countries and this definitely was one of the very best. Isabel’s knowledge of Mount Tieda national park and of the night sky was delivered with wit and a very high level of intelligence. Together with a wonderful personality and understanding of her guests needs she shines as the brightest of stars.

This was a very well run excursion. A couple of great stops for drinks and almond cake (and toilet) were carefully planned. The tour guide, Niko, was full of information. He talked on the coach along the way and pointed out interesting landmarks with each coach stop. We stopped several times to see viewpoints and take photos. When we arrived for the sunset Niko told us what we were seeing and gave us hot mint tea (and blankets if needed). Then the 3 course dinner was nice and staff were well organised. Afterwards we went to the Stargazing site. Pitch black. Perfect to see a sky full of stars. Many shooting stars. The telescopes were set up to see 4 different main planets and star formations. Niko then pointed out so many different constellations. So interesting. Definitely the 'wow' factor. We were the 1st pick up so the coach ride was long about 2½hrs. Much quicker coming home.

What a wonderful experience! Helena was informative and interesting with a fantastic knowledge of both the geology of the volcanoes and the stars in the sky. And despite the original bus breaking down halfway up the mountain, Helena and the driver were able to have us picked up and another coach assigned all within the space of around ten minutes!!! Incredible views from the top of the volcano and a wonderful sunset. Highly recommend

What an amazing trip ! It's a pretty long bus ride but it's all worth it. There's plenty of stops along the way for food, souvenirs and restrooms. There's a dinner included as well. But of course the most important thing is the unusual and astounding view of the nature around the Teide and the Teide itself. Later on you will see the night sky like you've probably never seen it before. I've never seen this many stars in my life, it really is a breathtaking view. All of this will be explained by your guide, in this case Nico (for the german tours). He has all the information you could need and he'll offer them in an entertaining way. Much respect to the bus driver (in this case Gustavo) who took those narrow roads and tight spots like a pro. The only thing left to say is, if you get the chance, do it. It'll be an experience you won't forget.
