Very disappointing experience. The crew didn’t even try to look for dolphins — they just sailed without any effort or engagement, as if only to “tick the box.” No explanations, no enthusiasm, nothing to see. A total waste of time and money. I don’t recommend it — there are other companies in Madeira that truly care about their passengers.

We really enjoyed our 3-hour boat tour to go dolphin and whale watching. After one hour of cruising, we were lucky enough to see bottlenose dolphins and even had one come right up to the catamaran! Note though that due to environmental legislation, only 2 boats are allowed to observe one pod at a time and observation is only allowed for 10 minutes to respect the wildlife. Even though the viewing time was short, we enjoyed simply being out on the water, lying in the sun on the netting, feeling the breeze, and seeing the island from the water. There was also a 10 minute stop for swimming in the ocean by Cape Girao, so make sure to bring your bathing suit! The crew on board was really friendly and the boat only had maybe 30 people so it was not overcrowded. There was also a reasonably priced bar with drinks and snacks on board and the washrooms were well kept.

Unforgettable experience!! Visited in July. We encountered a group of playful young dolphins that started racing with our Catamaran! So glad I caught it on camera 📷 Big tip: stay in front of the Catamaran where the nets are, that's your front row seat to this wonderful show, and bring a rain jacket to place it under you, to make sure you won't get any splashes (we didn't but still used it just in case). Bring snacks. Bring a light jacket as it gets quite windy sometimes. Enjoy the show!

Are we disapointed!? Yes we are! We saw some dolphins and zero wheals. Max distance from the shore was less than 500m, so wheals arw somewhere else. 40€ per person is just too much for almost nothing. Avoid!

Good organization, clean toilets, in our case, enough space for photography. At first nothing happened, no animation with the crew or explanation of the habitat (like we saw in the Azores) then luckily a whale or two "happened" and then a group of whales. Great opportunity to see black dolphin-like whales. Worth a visit.
