This is a review that is sorrowfully long overdue. This food tour is a master class in how all food tours should be run. It was two years ago that we took this tour, but I remember as though it was yesterday. Even though we were scheduled for a full tour, all other parties other than us cancelled save for the two of us. Our gracious host Sam had so much energy and passion that the entire event felt as though we were galavanting through the halls of London with an entourage of our closest and dearest held friends. We sampled a completely ridiculous amount of delicious and traditional English foods. Some of the more traditional foods were there for strictly historical or religious reasons, while many others were wildly bold and full of flavor. The knowledge and passion of our guide Sam was unrivalled in our long career of countless food tours. In a completely wild chance, we had visited the Borough Markets again just last week in a period of reminiscing of this very food tour, when chance should have it, none other the Sam himself was leading another food tour, and I was able to shake his hand and thank him again for this incredible experience. By all means if you're looking for a food tour in London stop and select this very one. Sam, if you ever read this, you are an incredibly knowledgeable tour guide and the experience you host is unforgettable.

HIGHLY recommended. We booked the Traditional English Food Tour as a private group for our family of seven (three adults, two teens, and two younger children). Sam, our guide, was very informative and kind. We had some incredibly tasty food and also some weird stuff like jellied eels (which is EXACTLY the kind of balance I want in my food tour experiences). We ended the tour with a cream tea at a lovely place that served up the best scones I've ever had. The pace was perfect and all in all we felt like this was the best introduction to the city we could have asked for.

My husband and I purchased the tour as sub idea to see and experience London for the first time from the USA. And we were not disappointed, Josh was very knowledgeable and the restaurants provided plenty of food! We purchased the additional drink package and we’re very pleased that we did 😁 The meeting spot was also ideal and Josh even recommended some other spots to visit for the remaining days on our trip.
