Peter was a fantastic guide with so much knowledge of Oxford, from the university and colleges to the history of the city, the literary figures and movies that have been made there. He told us so many interesting anecdotes and showed us much that we would never have read about in a book or discovered on our own. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our tour. If you are going to Oxford, try to book him!
Lorac was an excellent guide and was able to give us a very personalised tour with interesting insights and explanations. He adapted the tour to enable us to see and experience relevant colleges and places. It was highly worthwhile doing a private tour and we would definitely look to do this again when visiting other cities.
Peter was exceptional and such a hoot. We spontaneously booked only 24 hours prior to the tour with idea of seeing Oxford as a prospective student. My family and I have been to Oxford a couple of times before, wondering where to go and what to see. This time we booked a guided tour and our experience was amazing. We booked a Harry Potter tour and our guide, Peter, made our day as a fairytale. The tour was informative, interesting and very entertaining. Peter has graduated Oxford university and told us a lot about about how to apply, the colleges and the student life. Apart from showing us the places where Harry Potter was filmed, and telling us a lot of interesting and unknown facts, he also showed us around Oxford and took us to places with historic charm and character, which you will never discover on your own. Peter stayed far longer with us than initially planned and we felt special. We highly recommend the guided tours of this company!
A superb walking tour around some beautiful locations in Oxford. Peter was awesome, hugely knowledgeable, very entertaining and generally lovely! He went out of his way to speak with all the tour guests and went way over and above in terms of making everyone welcome, giving recommendations (and cake) for eateries and shops - even passed on discounts for Blackstones and the wonderful No#1 Ship Street restaurant we were booked in for that evening. An excellent way to spend a couple of hours whilst finding out all manner of fascinating facts about Oxford and related culture. Highly recommended!!!
Our guide Laura was excellent had great knowledge of the city. She made it great fun too with little anecdotes of places and people, we learnt a lot about the history of the city and the famous people who had studied there. We will be back for more in 2020. Thank you Laura. X
