Fantastic place to visit. Beautiful architecture surrounded by the rocks of the gorge. Lovely place to eat and visit. Museum was very informative and the children were highly engaged. Cox cave was stunning, the visual effects and natural beauty shone though. Coughs cave was great, audio opportunities for learning, didn’t enjoy the Christmas set ups inside, took away the magic of the venue for me.

Cheddar Gorge is so beautiful! The view is amazing and the caves are really interesting to see. Everything is clean and well organized. The staff are nice and friendly. Don’t forget to try the local Cheddar cheese — it’s delicious!

Visited with my family and we all loved it. The caves are stunning — huge, full of colour, and beautifully lit. The audio guide was really good too, with just the right amount of detail and some fun stories along the way. It’s an easy walk, and there’s plenty of time to take it all in. A great mix of adventure and learning. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Cheddar.
