The world needs more of what this mother daughter duo has to offer! Passion, creativity, and knowledge along with a gorgeous setting and some amazing ocean based products. Our trip to their abalone farm was one of the true highlights of our stay in the area. We walked the coast and explored the edible seaweed and plants. We learned a great deal about the ecosystem and their farming practices and had a fantastic tasting menu highlighting their offerings including abalone, seaweeds, and coastal plants. Can’t recommend their tour enough! Passion and purpose!!! Great job ladies!

Such a lovely family-run business! Did a coastal walk and abalone tasting tour and it was absolutely great. You learn a lot about all kinds of edible seaweed and plants available at the shore and get to see live abalone and how they are farmed. And after that you get rewarded with a set of meals prepared with seaweed (and abalone!) in ways you wouldn’t think of yourself. Both gastronomical and foraging delight, highly recommended!

Came across the site during a search for things to so in the area and feel very fortunate that we did. Our host Sinéad was great and you can sense the passion she has for the environment and her work. While I have eaten abalone before I had never seen one abalone in its shell let alone having it so fresh. The food we were served at the end was what we had forged during our coastal walk along with abalone and was elegantly presented.

An absolute hidden gem in Southern Connemara for anyone interested in the region's food, culture, fine dining, foraging, history or marine biology. We were enthralled for the duration of the visit and served a variety of dishes made from their aquaculture farm produce and a selection of traditional foraged herbs and seaweed from the nearby bay. These unexpected and exciting dishes are nothing you could find in any restaurant I can think of, and are the creative creations of the owners. It seems this mother-daughter duo can do it all.

Fantastic experience here. Even in the drizzly rain Sinéad's enthusiasm for seaweed, abalone and aquaculture in general is infectious. I really enjoyed wandering around learning about all the different seaweed that can be foraged. Some amazing flavours and textures. The abalone farm is really interesting too. Great to learn about the ecosystem and farming techniques and amazing to taste the produce too. Thoroughly interesting and delicious tour. You should go and learn more. Only regret was that I didn't have a nice bottle of albarino to wash all the beautiful food down with. Thanks!
