Unleash your inner wizard in this immersive School of Magic experience, tucked away in a hidden cave behind Edinburgh’s historic St Giles Cathedral. Begin your magical journey by choosing your perfect wand wood and core, guided by a skilled Wand Master. Over the course of 1.5 hours, you’ll carve protective runes, sculpt the wand’s shape, and paint it to your liking.
In this enchanting environment, surrounded by candlelight, you'll learn the art of wand-making while sipping on magical teas and enjoying cakes. Once your wand is complete, you’ll be invited to cast your first spell and become part of the School of Magic! This experience is perfect for both children and adults, offering a fun and engaging activity that will leave you with a unique keepsake.

It is recommended that you wear warm clothes and comfortable shoes that you don’t mind getting a bit messy. You are welcome to wear a wizard hat to fully embrace the magical experience.
